J&K: Security forces gun down six JeM terrorists in two separate encounters

Srinagar, Dec 30: Six terrorists affiliated with terror outfit Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM), have been killed by the security forces in two separate encounters in Jammu and Kashmir’s Anantnag and Kulgam districts, the police informed on Thursday morning.

“6 #terrorists of proscribed #terror outfit JeM killed in two separate #encounters. 4 among the killed terrorists have been identified so far as (2) #Pakistani & (2) local terrorists. Identification of other 02 terrorists is being ascertained. A big #success for us,” Kashmir Zone Police tweeted quoting Kashmir’s inspector general Vijay Kumar.

The first encounter started at Nowgam Anantnag where, one policeman was also injured and he was shifted to hospital. Three JeM terrorists have been killed in the encounter.

Soon after the Anantnag encounter, security forces launched another encounter in Kulgam where three terrorists have been killed.  Out of the three,  one was a Pakistani militant & two were local terrorists.

According to the police, four among the killed terrorists have been identified so far.
