Ranchi, April 12: The Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) took a serious note to the statement of Godda MP Nishikant Dubey saying that he will ensure sending jail to the entire Soren family.
Party senior leader Supriyo Bhattacharya expressed the party’s feeling saying the party is seeking legal opinion to decide whether a case of defamation should be filed on it or not.
Dubey had given the statement on Tuesday while addressing the party workers assembled at Prabhat Tara Maidan in Dhurwa to lay siege to the Jharkhand secretariat under the “Hemant Hatao” campaign.
Bhattacharya was addressing media persons a day after the programme.
The senior party leader, on the occasion, condemned the BJP for resorting to violence during a political programme saying that the party pelted stones and bottles. Apart from this, he alleged that some of the BJP workers had come with explosives in the rally.
“The BJP has shamed the political structure by its yesterday’s programme in which participants were brought providing wages besides conveyance and food allowances,” he said.
The party leader said that the crowd turned up in the BJP’s programme was hardly equal to people present in yesterday’s Shalimar weekly market in Dhurwa and today’s Satranji Market in the same locality.
The party leader threatened the BJP of dire consequences of pelting stones saying the party should not forget that if they have stones, the JMM have bows and arrows.
“Pattharvajon Sambhal Jao. Hamare Paas Teer Kaman Hai,” Bhattacharya said.
