Ranchi, Aug 18: The Border Security Force (BSF), Life Insurance Corporation (LIC), Indian Railways, and Pepsico have taken out over 19000 vacancies for different positions. Here is the information in this regard.
Border Security Force (BSF)
BSF has taken out a vacancy on a total of 1312 posts as head constable as radio operator and radio mechanic. 10th, 12th and ITI passed youths may apply by visiting the official website of BSF at www.bsf.gov.in before September 19. The selection of the candidate will be on the basis of written and physical tests.
Eligibility
10th/12th for Radio Operator (RO); 10th/12th/ITI for Radio Mechanic (RM)
Age
General Candidate: 18 to 25 years; relaxation to be given to reserved category candidates as per government rules.
Salary
Candidates can get salary on the basis of level-4 in the seventh pay scale up to Rs 25500 – Rs 81100. Under this, in-hand salary will be Rs 45,800.
Selection Process
Candidates will have to pass a written exam, physical test, medical test and document verification to be selected.
Life Insurance Corporation (LIC)
LIC has invited applications for a total of 80 posts including that of assistant and assistant manager in the Housing Branch for which graduate candidates in the age group of 21 to 40 years can apply online by visiting LIC’s website www.lichousing.com till August 25. Candidates will be selected on the basis of merit along with a written test.
Eligibility
The minimum qualification required is that of graduation in any subject.
Age
Candidates applying for the posts of assistant manager should be between 21 to 40 years to appear in the recruitment process. Meanwhile, the age of the candidates applying for the assistant posts should be 21 to 28 years.
Salary
If selected for the post of assistant, the candidate can expect Rs 33,960 and if selected for the post of assistant manager, the candidate will have a salary of Rs 80,000.
Selection Process
The candidates will be selected on the basis of online examination and interview. The online exam will be of 120 minutes and will have 200 questions. The exam will probably be held in the last week of September or the first week of October.
Indian Railway
The Indian railways have invited applications for a total of 102 posts under different categories. Interested candidates up to the age of 42 years can apply online till August 15 by visiting the official website of Railways https://wcr.indianrailways.gov.in. The candidates will be selected through a written exam and merit list.

PepsiCo India has invited applications for 18,533 posts of Assistant Manager-Sales, Associate Manager and Manager Finance. Candidates in the age group of 21 to 45 years can apply by visiting the official website of PepsiCo.
Candidates will be given a salary from 40 to 70 thousand every month on selection.

Assistant Manager-Sales : Candidates appointed to this position will be connected to Frito Lay’s business retail customer team in North America. He will serve as the lead analyst.
Associate Manager : As part of PepsiCo’s Human Resources Department, the Associate Manager will have to formulate a policy to engage qualified candidates with the company. During the selection process, candidates will have to familiarize themselves with PepsiCo’s business and work policy.
Manager-Finance : Preparing business reports and working with specific regions and clients to improve business and sectoral performance will be the core tasks of a Manager-Finance.
Senior Manager-Global Procurement : Candidates having Bachelor or Administration Degree with Master Degree having nine years work experience are eligible for this post. Candidates should have an understanding of various aspects of procurement such as sourcing, category management, knowledge of the process and food and beverages.
