JPSC announces Civil services main exam dates

Ranchi, Jan 17: Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) has released the time table for the main examination of 7th to 10th Combined Civil Services Examination. The seventh phase will be held from January 28 to January 30 at 14 examination centres in Ranchi. Candidates will be able download their admit cards from January 18.

The commission has said that candidates can download the admit cards by entering their date of birth and roll number of the preliminary examination. According to the notification issued by the commission, the exam will be conducted in two shifts. Both the shifts will be of three hours each.

The first shift exam will be conducted from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM and the second shift exam will be conducted from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. In the first shift, the examination will be based on Paper 1 while the second shift will have Paper 2. Similarly, on January 29, paper 3 in the first shift and the exam for Paper 4 will be conducted in the second shift. On January 30, the examination of the first shift will have Paper 5 and the second shift will be for Paper 6.

The commission has said in its notification that along with the admit card, the candidates will be informed about the attendance sheet and exam centres. If there is any discrepancy, then the candidates can get the errors of the admit card removed through a written application at the inquiry counter of the commission between January 18 and 25.
