Ranchi, Nov.25: A day after governor Ramesh Bias had a meeting with JPSC chairman Amitabh Choudhary taking the controversy over the JPSC preliminary test result declared November 1, the recruitment agency uploaded its reply on all the controversial points (20) and cut off marks for selection of candidates for different categories for mains examination on the link https://www.jpsc.gov.in/data/statement_pt_01_2021.pdf.
The recruitment agency rubbished most of the allegations of those protesting against the result and demanding cancellation of the examination. It has made it clear that 15 times more than seats specified in each category for selection for a job have been declared qualified in the PT.
Regarding the qualification of many candidates from a particular classroom of a particular centre in Latehar, Lohardaga and Sahibganj, the JPSC says that there is no information regarding such coincidence from Lateher. As far as Sahibganj and Lohardaga centre is concerned, the commission said that inquiry will be done in the matter though the candidates were declared provisionally qualified.
The JPSC denies the allegation of question paper leak saying if it had been so, the matter had not been hidden for two months after the examination.
