JSCC extends date of application for post of Grade A Nurses

Ranchi, June 17: The Jharkhand Staff Selection Committee (JSSC) has extended the final date to apply for Competitive Examination 2022 for both Regular and Backlog Recruitment to appoint Category A Nurses in the Rajendra Institute of Medical Science (RIMS) on 350 vacancies.

Candidates will now be filling up applications till June 19 by visiting the committee’s website www.jssc.nic.in. Earlier the online application could be filled till June 11.

According to the controller of examination of JSSC, candidates will be able to register online from Friday till June 19 midnight. The last date for payment of examination fee is June 21 and the last date for uploading of photo and signature has been fixed as June 23. Candidates will be able to amend the dedicated online application on June 25 and 26.

Notably, the commission has fixed the date of examination for the appointment of A grade nurse on 16 July. This test for both Regular and Backlog Category will be taken in one phase (Main Exam) in CBT mode i.e. Computer Based and will have objective questions. Four marks will be awarded for each correct answer while one mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.

A total of 350 vacancies have been divided into unreserved, SC, ST, BC I, BC II and EWS. Candidates may apply online according to the qualification including B.Sc (Hons.) Nursing / B.Sc.

Nursing from an Indian Nursing Council/ Jharkhand State Nursing Council recognised University or Institute or B.Sc. (Post Certificate) / Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing from an Indian Nursing Council/ State Nursing Council/ State Nursing Council recognised Institute/ University; or Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery from an Indian Nursing Council/ State Nursing Council recognized Institute/ Board or Council.

Age limit and other detailed information can be checked at the commission’s website along with other information about salary bracket and criteria for cancellation of an application.
