Ranchi: The CID, which is probing irregularities in the JSSC-CGL examination, has issued a notice to Sanjoy Piparwal, the lawyer representing the Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission, directing him to appear before its Special Investigation Team for questioning.
SIT to Seek Details on Legal Documents and Court Submissions
The CID’s SIT will question advocate Sanjoy Piparwal about the legal documents connected to the examination, the arguments placed by the commission before the court, and the administrative decisions taken during the course of the controversy. The investigation team is also examining the correspondence and decisions exchanged between the commission, the examination agency and other related parties during the exam process.
Questioning Seen as Part of Ongoing Probe
Reports indicate that the SIT has already questioned several officials and other individuals linked to the examination as part of its investigation. The summons to the commission’s lawyer is being viewed as a continuation of this same line of inquiry.
