New Delhi, Sept 2: Kalyan Chaubey was chosen to lead the All India Football Federation as its new president on Friday. Bhaichung Bhutia, a former captain of India, was also running for president, but Chaubey ultimately defeated him.
Bhutia received just one vote whereas Chaubey received 33 votes. With this, Chaubey also became the first player-president of the AIFF.
