Khunti man found dead in Kolkata-Ranchi bus at Khadgarha

Ranchi, March 8: The body of a Khunti resident, Ratan Topno, was today found in a Kolkata-Ranchi bus, Arju, at Khadgarha bus stand under the Lower Bazar police station.

The recovery took place in the morning when someone noticed the body lying in the parked bus and informed the police, who identified the body with the help of an Aadhar card lying near the body.

The reason behind the death could not be ascertained so far. A police official, however. suspected it to be a case of heart attack.

An FIR has been registered in this connection and the body was sent for autopsy at RIMS.

Officer-in-charge of Lower Bazar police station Sanjay Kumar said the deceased was old and his family members had reached.

On October 25, driver and Khalasi charred to death after they slept drunk after lighting candles inside their bus, Moonlight, parked at Khadgarha bus stand on Diwali night.

Deceased were identified as Madan Mahto,a resident of Gumla, and Mohemmed Ibrahim, a resident of Chaibasa.
