KK laid to rest in Mumbai; friends, family bid emotional goodbye

Mumbai, June 2: Popular bollywood singer Krishnakumar Kunnath, popularly known as KK was cremated in Mumbai on Thursday (June 2). At the Versova Hindu cremation yard, he was laid to rest in the presence of close family and friends. His son Nakul performed the last rites.

Celebrities like Javed Akhtar, Shankar Mahadevan, Shreya Ghoshal, and others arrived at KK’s Andheri mansion in Mumbai for antim darshan before the cremation.

Notably on May 31, the music industry lost a true gem when KK passed away. The 53-year-old singer complained of feeling uneasy when he was performing at Nazrul Mancha in Kolkata for a concert. KK was transferred to the CMRI Hospital in Kolkata, but was pronounced dead there.
