Dhanbad, May 31: Dr Shukhdeo Bhoi vice-chancellor (VC) of Binod Bihari Mahto Koylanchal University (BBMKU) said that before understanding the foreign policy of our country we would have to know the idea of India first.
While addressing a seminar on ‘Indian Foreign Policy in Context of Changing World Scenario’, chief guest Dr Bhoi said that no doubt due to changing world order and the need of hour practical change is being felt in Indian foreign policy and it has left a major mark on international diplomacy.
“ So, I will say before knowing the country’s foreign policy in changing world’s scenario we must understand the idea of India,” said Vice-chancellor Dr Sukhdeo Bhoi.
The seminar was organized by the political science postgraduate (PG) department of BBMKU.

Dr Praveen Singh, HoD, political science, PG department while presiding over the seminar said that the foreign policy of India has played a major role in making the country strong, powerful and competent despite all odds.
Dr Jitendra Aryan while addressing the seminar said that the present foreign policy of the country is running on the right track. India is emerging as a superpower on the international stage. But we should also go through its historical background, he added.
Dr MH Akhtar on the occasion said Indian foreign policy has been dominating the world since its independence. The non-alignment foreign policy of Prime Minister Jawahar Lal Nehru helped India to lead the third-world nations.
Dr RR Pal said that Indian foreign policy has been giving the message of ‘Vasudev kutumbakam’ to the world right from starting.
PhD and research scholars Nitu Kumari, Shilpi Sinha, Babita Giri, Khushboo Pathak, Simran Chhawra, Rani Kumari, Priya Kumari, Neeraj Srivastava, Baldeo Mahto, Anil Mahto, Rakesh Kumar, Krishnanad Mishra, Puja Mishra, Talat Parween, Ankush kumara, Asha Kumari, Anamika Kumari, Rinki Kumari, Lakshmi Kumari, Nida Fatima and Priya Dan also addressed through their power presentation.
