Ranchi, Sept.30: A youth, Md. Idrish died following a clash between two groups after a dispute over government land. The incident took place at Tilta Chowk under Ratu police station area.
S.P. (rural) Naushad Alam confirmed the incident saying some of the people have been detained in the connection.
Asked how Idrish died, S.P(rural) Alam said: “He sustained injuries following an attack by lathi. He was taken to hospital, where he succumbed to his injury,” he said without giving further details.
