Land-for-jobs scam: Lalu Yadav, Rabri Devi and Misa Bharti get bail on Rs 50,000 bond

New Delhi, March 15: A Delhi court on Wednesday granted bail to RJD leader and former railway minister Lalu Yadav, his wife Rabri Devi, and their daughter Misa Bharti in connection with a case involving the land-for-jobs scam.

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), which is looking into the case, filed the chargesheet without making an arrest, the court noted. It asked every accused to give Rs 50,000 personal bail bond and a corresponding amount as surety.

This morning, Yadav arrived at Rouse Avenue court with his wife Rabri and daughter Misa Bharti. The leader of RJD was observed using a wheelchair.
