Ranchi, March 3: The land which Jayant Karnad sold to 14 people in 2019 through 16 deeds, was resold on October 1, 2021. In the continuous investigation by Lagatar24.com, many shocking facts have come to the fore. In both situations, different sellers had sold the land by pretending to be its owners. In the first instance, the seller of the Army land was Jayant Karnad.

The 14 buyers had earlier applied for mutation in Badgai zone but their applications were rejected. Similarly, the other seller is recognized as Praful Bagchi, father of Pradeep Bagchi.

Bagchi had sold the land to Dilip Kumar Ghosh, director of Jagatbandhu Tea Estate Pvt Ltd, who is a resident of Kankurgachi West Bengal. The Army land was re-registered on October 1, 2021. The land’s worth is 20.75 crores which was sold for just Rs 7 crores.

Pradeep Bagchi resold the piece of Army land on October 1. The area of the land is measured to be 4.46 acres according to the revenue record register 2. However, the same land was sold to Dilip Kumar Ghosh on December 1, 2021, stating it to be around 4.55 acres. Within three years, the total area of land has increased by 9 decimals.

On October 2, 2021, Dilip Kumar Ghosh had applied for mutation in Badgai zone having mutation case number 2019/2021-2022. However, after further investigation the mutation has been rejected by the Deputy Commissioner and the Circle Inspector.
