Ranchi, Sept 22: Latehar Deputy Commissioner Abu Imran has taken initiative to strengthen the infrastructure of the basic health facility in the district. A 30-bed pediatric ICU is being built in Mananchotag of the district. The construction work of which is almost completed. The Deputy Commissioner inspected the Pediatric ICU being built at Kalyan Hospital Mananchotag. After the inspection, the DC said that Latehar would soon get a high-tech pediatric ICU.
It has been claimed in the reports that the effect of the third wave of corona will be more on the children. In view of which the preparation is being done.
According to the information, there will be 30 beds in the pediatric ICU to be built in Kalyan Hospital Mananchotag in which isolation wards for children, mother & child care wards have been made. An Oxygen PSA plant has also been installed in the hospital itself. In view of the possibility of the arrival of the third wave of covid infection, a pediatric ICU has been made by the district administration under pre-preparation.
The DC has been inspecting the Pediatric ICU and PSA Plant from time to time so that their progress in the Hospital can be maintained.
The railway crossing on the way to the hospital was also inspected in the past by a team under the DC. A letter has also been written by the district administration to the Divisional Railway Manager. In the letter written to the railways, it was said that with the construction of road over bridge or road under bridge at the place of the railway crossing, medical team, ambulance, fire brigade vehicles will be able to reach Kalyan Hospital easily without any hindrance.
