Jamshedpur, March 4: If the Met office forecasts are any indication isolated parts of Jharkhand might experience light rain or thundershowers activity after the next 48 hours.
IMD’s Ranchi Met Centre forecast suggested a partly cloudy sky in the south, west and adjoining central parts while a mainly clear sky in the north-eastern parts of the
state on Monday, March 6.
On March 7, light rain or thunderstorm is likely at isolated places over western and adjoining central parts of the state.
The forecast for March 8 also suggested light rain or thunderstorm activity at isolated places over western and adjoining central parts of the state.
Met office records indicated that dry weather prevailed over the state.
The highest maximum temperature of 36°C was recorded at Jamshedpur while the lowest minimum temperature of 13°C was recorded at Simdega. Met statistics suggested a rising trend in both day and night temperatures.
The maximum temperature in most places was recorded between 32 and 35 degree Celsius while the minimum reading was notched above 14 degree Celsius in most parts of the state.
