New Delhi, July 18: Vedaant Madhavan, son of actor R Madhavan, broke a record at the Junior National Aquatics. He accomplished a new record by beating the old one of 16 minutes.
Madhavan used Twitter to express his joy as a proud father. At the current 48th Junior National Aquatic Championships, which are taking place in Bhubaneswar, Vedaant won the 1500m freestyle event.
Vedaant made his family happy on July 17 when he won the 1500-meter freestyle competition. He broke the previous record held by his fellow statemate Advait Page with a time of 6:01.73.
Madhavan wrote on twitter, “Never say never. National Junior Record for 1500m freestyle broken (sic).”

Vedaant has won numerous medals in swimming tournaments both in India and abroad. He stated that he wants to establish himself in an interview with an entertainment portal.
