‘Mahi Way’ painting exhibition organized on Dhoni’s birthday

Ranchi, July 7: On the occasion of the 42nd birthday of Captain cool Lt Colonel Mahendra Singh Dhoni, a two-day painting exhibition “Mahi Way” was organized by the children of Kalakriti School of Arts.

In this exhibition, students aged 12 to 25 years brought Dhoni’s painting to life with their art. Whether it is pencil or watercolour, charcoal pencil or acrylic color, students created paintings of Dhoni in all mediums.

The students made more than 30 paintings based on the life of Dhoni. They depicted important moments of his sports life. Like his picture with the World Cup, with the IPL trophy and his long-haired look. T20 trophy, a cute picture of him with daughter Ziva and other moments also featured is his memorable picture.

School director Dhananjay Kumar said that the love of children towards Dhoni, has been presented through this exhibition.

“Dhoni has not only illuminated Ranchi but the whole world. In his captaincy career India has set a record by winning all the ICC tournaments. So, it was the effort of the school children to give them a unique gift through this exhibition,” he said.

Those whose paintings were displayed included Aarti, Suruchi, Suman, Amisha, Jaya, Archana, Sneha, Mayank, Harsh, Saksham, Suraj, Ayush, Raj, Palak, Riddhi and Sunanda.
