Kolkata, Oct 29: West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee will visit Goa on Friday and is expected to interact with the party workers and the fishermen community in Betim.
During the evening, Mamata Banerjee will visit Mangueshi Temple at 3:30 pm in Priol and will also visit Shri Mahalasa Narayani Temple in Mardol. In addition to this, she will also visit Tapobhoomi Temple at 4:30 pm in Kundaim, Ponda. She is also scheduled to interact with the Civil Society members at 5:45 pm in the international centre Goa.
Notably, as per the press note released by the party, on October 24, 300 people joined the All India Trinamool Congress(TMC) in three different events that took place in the Panaji, Navelim and Sanguem area of Goa. Goa Assembly has a strength of 40 members, the ruling TMC in Bengal, after retaining power with a sweeping victory in the assembly polls for the third consecutive time in May this year, is trying to expand its base in other states also.
