Jamshedpur, March 4: The annual management fest of XLRI – Ensemble Valhalla – 2022 began on a virtual mode on Friday.
The theme of the fest this year is ‘Realm of Dreams’- Build your own reality that instigates people to plunge into everything beyond the ordinary.
The festival was officially launched by Bollywood star R Madhavan, who virtually addressed the XLRI fraternity along with the presence of college authorities and the students.
He remembered his days in his hometown Jamshedpur and spoke about how the rapidly changing times have exposed people from all walks of life to the global culture and tradition.
Emphasizing on the spirit of ‘Do good; do well’, Madhavan stressed on the importance of manoeuvring life by upholding the values of compassion and respect and being a successful person rather than a successful professional.
The inaugural speech was followed by the release of the Ensemble Valhalla 2022 schedule, detailing the 30 plus events and live performances by artists like Rahul Dua, Ash King, Javed Ali and Bhuwin Khursija for the three-day fest which will conclude on March 6.
Ensemble-Valhalla is XLRI’s annual cultural, sporting, and management festival.
It attracts a large number of participants from B-schools across the country. The festival includes nine flagships, 17 sports and 22 cultural events including a speaker’s conclave called Idea Summit, where veterans from all walks of life will gather in enlightening discussions.
Six panels will address students this year, with speakers including Ashish Chanchlani, Ayush Mehra, Aisha Ahmed, as well as big names like Varun Alagh and Medha Patkar.
The cast of the much-talked-about shows Paatal Lok will be featured exclusively at Idea Summit this year, as a special addition to the panels followed by live performances featuring famous artists like Javed Ali, Ash King, Rahul Dua and Bhuwin Khursija at the oldest B-School in India.
