Mangalayatan University of Aligarh gets NAAC A+ grade

Aligarh, April 3: Mangalayatan University has received A+ grading from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).

NAAC evaluation is done to check the quality of any university. NAAC grading helps the students to have a better option for the system of education, research, infrastructure in selecting the institute.

A five-member team of NAAC had conducted a site inspection at the university from 22 to 24 February. The team evaluated the administrative and infrastructural arrangements along with the academic and research quality of the university.

The team had a meeting with the students, alumni and parents as well as discussed with the staff.

Vice Chancellor of University Prof. PK Dashora while congratulating the entire university family said that in October 2022 the Self-Assessment Report (SSR) was submitted to NAAC. “We have taken a big leap achieving great achievements,” he added.

In a meeting held at the Vice-Chancellor’s auditorium on Friday last, the Vice-Chancellor said that it is the result of everyone’s collective effort that the university has got A+ grade from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).

“The university administration has achieved this goal through hard work and dedication. We will continue to strive to provide better facilities and resources to teachers and students in the future,” he said.

The Vice-Chancellor said that now the effort will be to bring better grades by continuous hard work. He said that now our responsibility has increased further. “While doing better work in teaching and research, it is our responsibility to counsel the students and look after them as their guardians,” he added.

Registrar Brig. Samarveer Singh said that working in rural areas was a big challenge for us, but due to the collective efforts of all, we have achieved and got A+ grade from NAAC. “We will strive for new heights by accepting the challenges of the future. Definitely we will get A plus plus grade,” he added.

Controller of Examinations Prof. Dinesh Sharma said that Mangalayatan University is doing important work in the field of providing higher education to the students. “It has emerged as a great option for underprivileged students in remote and rural areas. As a result of which the university has got this achievement today,” he said.

He said that soon he will start work on online and distance education in the university so that students can get more facilities.

On this occasion Prof. YP Singh, Administrative Officer Gopal Rajput, Prof. Rajiv Sharma, Prof. Ashok Purohit, Prof. Ankur Aggarwal, Prof. Siddharth Jain, Dr. Santosh Gautam, Dr. Niyati Sharma, Dr. Soni Singh, Luv Mittal, Tarun Sharma, Mayank Singh etc. were also present.
