Dhanbad, Oct 9: East Central Railway (ECR), Hajipur zone, has restored the manual system of releasing passes and privilege ticket orders (PTO) for the facility of employees till October 31.

ECR had closed the manual system of passes and PTO on September 30 and ordered to issue it only through digitized online Human Resources Management System (HRMS). Due to the technical snag in HRMS, railway employees were deprived of a railway pass facility and had to purchase a ticket for the journey.

The ECR management has restored the manual pass and privilege ticket order (PTO) after a delegation of East Central Railway Karmchari Union under central committee president DK Pandey met the General Manager (GM) on Friday and made him aware of the problem being faced by the railway employees due to snag in  HRMS. Pandey urged the GM to consider a manual pass system so that employees do not suffer till snag in HRMS is repaired .

“ On the initiative of ECKUR, the general manager ECR Hajipur has extended the date of releasing manual pass and PTO till October 31.  The management has also issued a notification in this regard. It would give relaxation to employees in festive season,” said DK Pandey, central committee president of ECRKU.

The Union leader said from this notification staff of all five divisions of ECR Hajipur including  22,000 employees working in the Dhanbad rail division would be benefited in this festive season who had to buy tickets owing snag in HRMS.

ECRKU leaders AK Das, NK Khawas, Netaji Subhash, BK Dubey, TK Sahu, Parmeswar Kumar, Indramohan Singh, KK Singh, Raju Choubey, RK Prasad, AK Das, Somen Dutta, Sudipto Sinha, Pintoo Nandan have welcomed the move of the GM  for extending the manual pass system.
