Mediation helps settle land dispute between two brothers

Ranchi, Aug 24: Mediation centre in district civil court premises helped settle land dispute between two brothers. The success came after 25 meetings in the presence of mediator L.K.Giri.

The case reached before the mediator after the principal judicial commissioner referred the same for mediation.

The matter came into the knowledge of the principal judicial commissioner after Sanket Chandrabhanu Choudhary registered an FIR against his advocate brother Ashok Kumar Choudhary at Lalpur police station and later knocked the door of court for anticipatory bail.

It was agreed among the parties that Mauja Konka will divide a total of about 11 kattha 725 square feet of land located at Nagratoli and will remove the old building built on that land by 31.03.2023 by demolishing it.

It was agreed that the work will be done by both the parties in their respective parts. Regarding this agreement, there is also the consent of the mother of both the parties, Jayshree Devi. A declaration in this regard has been given by them.

It was also agreed by both the parties that they will not pursue the legal battle.

Other than Giri those who played the role in resolving the matter include advocates Shivkumar Tiwari and Anupam Kundu.
