Miscreants cut right palm of youth in Deoghar

Deoghar, May 9: In a bizarre incident, the right palm of a youth was amputated by miscreants in Deoghar on Monday night under the Town Police Station area.

The victim has been identified as Vivek Kumar, a resident of Subash Chowk under the Town police area. The incident took place near Lal Mishra lane of  Castoir Town under the Town Police Station area.

Talking to the media, the victim Vivek said that the accused Nitish had called him to resolve an old dispute and was making pressure on Vivek to remain with him. After the denial of his offer, the accused Nitish with the help of four others cut his right palm with a sharp weapon.

According to Vivek, Nitish Singh has been notorious in the locality.

Vivek’s father told the media that at the time of the incident he was in his shop. Somebody came to him and told him about the incident. Vivek was brought to the hospital by family members. The officer in charge of the Town  Police Station Abhishek and an ASI  reached the hospital and took account of the incident and recorded the statement of the victim.

Talking to Lagatar24.com, the SP confirmed the incident and said that the case is of mutual enmity.

Notably more than fifteen hours have passed since the incident occurred but still, the accused are out of police reach.

Miscreants even took away the palm with themselves.
