New Delhi, Aug 29: After leaving the Congress, Ghulam Nabi Azad increased his criticism of the Gandhis on Monday and said that the grand old party had been upset with him ever since the G-23 letter was written.

“Modi is an excuse, they have had an issue with me since the G23 letter was written. They never wanted anyone to write to them, question them… Several (Congress) meetings happened, but not even a single suggestion was taken,” he said.

Ghulam Nabi Azad also took a jibe at Rahul Gandhi’s hug to PM Modi in Parliament and said “It’s not me who is entangled with Modi, it’s him.”

On September 4, Azad, a former member of the Congress who left the organisation on August 26, is expected to arrive in Jammu. He has declared that he will launch a new party in Jammu & Kashmir, where assembly elections are scheduled.

#WATCH | On asked if he'll go with BJP if needed after forming a new party, GN Azad says, "Congress mein anpadhon ki jamaat hai, especially those sitting for clerical work…Those who know J&K, I can't increase even one vote in BJP's constituencies, they can't do it in mine…" pic.twitter.com/FotLHYKrRN
