Ramgarh, Aug 13: There was an incident of firing in a land dispute in Pochara village of Kuju, Ramgarh today.  One person died in this incident while two others were injured.

On this, MP Jayant Sinha said that due to the failure of the JMM-Congress government, law and order has completely collapsed in Jharkhand, including Hazaribag and Ramgarh.  Criminal incidents are increasing day by day in the state, he added.

MP Jayant Sinha immediately talked to Ramgarh Superintendent of Police Piyush Pandey regarding this matter and asked him to take strict action.  He said that today the law and order situation in Jharkhand has become completely dilapidated.  The morale of criminals is at its peak in the entire state including Hazaribagh and Ramgarh districts.  Incidents like murder, rape, theft and looting have become common in the state.  Hazaribag ranks first in the state in terms of criminal incidents.

He said that people are feeling insecure in Jharkhand.  According to the NCRB’s Crime in India Report 2021, the murder rate in Jharkhand is the highest in the country at 4.1 per cent.  This shows that the state government is unable to maintain law and order.  The incident that happened in Ramgarh should be impartially investigated so that the culprits can be punished severely, he added.
