Jamshedpur: On Thursday, 13597 people got both doses of the vaccine in Jamshedpur. In this, the first dose has been applied to 9289 and the second dose to 4308. The first dose was given only of Covidshield, while the second dose was given of Covaccine. District RCH officer Dr. BN Usha told that at present sufficient dose of vaccine is available in the district. On Friday also people can go to the centres and get vaccinated.
People are being vaccinated in all government and major private hospitals of the city. Apart from this, vaccination is also being done at government health centres in urban and rural areas. Dosage is being made available according to the roster in the panchayats.
On the other hand, slot booking will be opened from 9 o’clock tonight for vaccination to be held on Friday.
During this time people will be able to book for the centres according to their convenience. The DC of East Singhbhum gave this information by tweeting. In the tweet, he has said that the second dose of Covaccine will be available for people aged 18 to 44 and above 45 years.
