Mountaineer Satyarup Siddhanta to embark on North Pole Expedition Last-Degree Skiing

Ranchi, March 17: Indian Institute of Management, Ranchi, is thrilled to announce the official flag-off of the North Pole Expedition by Satyarup Siddhanta, mountaineer & motivational speaker, on March 19 from the newly inaugurated permanent campus of the institute in collaboration with “Ideate Inspire Ignite Foundation.”

Satyarup is the youngest in the world to climb the seven highest peaks and seven highest volcanic summits across 7 Continents. He believes that with grit, determination, and willpower, nothing is impossible. “Through my climbs, I want to inspire people … to face their fear eye to eye and break free from the self-limiting beliefs that cripple them,” says Satyarup.

The objective of Satyarup Siddhanta’s North Pole Expedition is to create awareness about climate change, the environment, and global warming under Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 13. The expedition will also educate and enrich the community by sharing the experience through offline/online interactions.

The Ideate Inspire Ignite Foundation aims to provide social wellness and growth to society by collaborating with thought leaders and like-minded people who are willing to leverage ideas, technologies, design, and education for the betterment of society. The foundation is proud to support Satyarup Siddhanta’s North Pole Expedition as it aligns with its mission of promoting sustainable development goals.

Rajeev Gupta being curator of TEDxKanke, aims to contribute the society through the foundation ie Ideate Inspire Ignite Foundation u/s 8 of the Company’s Act 2013. He mentioned that his journey will inspire millions of people around the world to pursue their dreams and overcome their challenges.

Dr. Deepak Kr. Shrivastava, Director of IIM Ranchi, expressed his views that such activity and sessions by Satyarup will boost the confidence of students in their future challenges.

The Ideate Inspire Ignite Foundation acknowledges the support of students of IIM Ranchi, and team members Kanishka Poddar, C M Chugh, Anup Prasad, Pravin Rajgadia, Kanika Malhotra, Hitesh Bhagat, Amit Modi, Rj Rashi, Nitika Thakur, and Alok Singh, without whom this expedition would not have been possible.

IIM Ranchi and the Ideate Inspire Ignite Foundation believe Satyarup Siddhanta’s journey will inspire millions worldwide to pursue their dreams and overcome their challenges. The event will focus on the trip of an asthmatic kid who challenged himself to become a mountaineer.
