MP CM Chouhan washes feet of urination case tribal victim

Bhopal, July 6: Shivraj Singh Chouhan, the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh on Thursday met the tribal worker on whom a guy had urinated. Shivraj Singh Chouhan showed respect by washing the labourer Dashmat Rawat’s feet.

On the night between Tuesday and Wednesday, Pravesh Shukla, the man who was seen on camera urinating on the labourer in Sidhi district, was taken into custody. An outcry was caused by a video of the conduct that went viral.

Dashmat Rawat received an apology from the Chief Minister for that incident. Shivraj Singh Chouhan’s Twitter account posted images of him washing the labourer’s feet.

In order to plant a seedling, Shivraj Singh Chouhan took Dashmat Rawat to the Smart City Park in Bhopal. The Chief Minister and the worker were seen executing the task together. The Chief Minister and the worker were seen carrying out the task together.

Earlier, the Chief Minister stated on Wednesday that watching the video had left his heart greatly upset and pain-filled. He promised to meet the victim and his family in Bhopal.

Under Sections 294 (Obscene Acts) and 504 (Intentional Insult to Provoke Breach of the Peace) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and the SC/ST Act, an FIR was registered against Pravesh Shukla. Charges under the National Security Act (NSA) have also been brought against the accused.

Following the event, the state administration on Wednesday partially destroyed a building owned by the accused.
