Punjab, Oct 17: Party Chief Sonia Gandhi’s advice given in the Congress Working Committee (CWC) meeting on Saturday seems to be ineffective the very next day. On Sunday, Punjab Congress President Navjot Singh Sidhu wrote a letter to Sonia regarding 13 point agenda which can be included in the 2022 poll manifesto. In this letter, Sidhu also sought a meeting with Sonia Gandhi to present the 13 point agenda for the 2022 Assembly Elections. Sidhu also posted this letter on his social media account.

Sidhu has attacked CM Charanjit Channi on the pretext of writing a letter to Sonia Gandhi. He said that the Congress high command took a progressive decision by making the Chief Minister of Scheduled Castes. Despite this, the Scheduled Castes did not get equal representation in the government. This thing is important because the Congress is going to the next election on the issue of making a Scheduled Caste CM. In such a situation, this statement of Sidhu can prove to be a setback for the Congress itself.
