Mumbai, Jan 29: The Mumbai NCB has arrested Sahil Shah alias Flaco, Sushant Singh Rajput’s next-door neighbour, in connection with the actor’s death which allegedly involved drugs.
According to NCB sources, Flaco himself surrendered to the NCB following which he was placed under arrest. Flaco had been on the run for nine months after his identity was linked to a cocaine ring.
Flaco’s name initially surfaced in the case of Sushant Singh Rajput’s death. When he lived in Mumbai’s Malad neighbourhood, he was Sushant’s next-door neighbour.
Flaco was wanted in a case involving Sushant in which he was linked to multiple drug peddlers and allegedly sold drugs to celebrities in Bollywood, including Sushant. Flaco is also linked to a large multinational narcotics cartel.
Other drug dealers detained in the investigation informed NCB officials that Flaco used to use video chats to communicate with them and would hide his face. NCB is sure to get a lot of links as a result of Flaco’s arrest.
NCB placed Flaco under arrest after he surrendered. He was called to the stand in front of the judge. NCB, on the other hand, might only get a one-day remand. Flaco is now being held in judicial custody.
