NIA, Jharkhand Police arrest Rs.10 lakhs rewarded militant Bhikhan Ganjhu in Ranchi

Ranchi, Mar 20: The most wanted 10 lakh rewarded militant Bhikhan Ganjhu and Rahul Munda who were absconding in 26 cases, have been arrested by the NIA and Jharkhand Police.

Based on secret information received by SSP Surendra Kumar Jha, the Ranchi Police team raided Dhela Toli in the Sadar police station area on March 17. In the raid, TPC militants Bhikhan Ganjhu and Rahul Munda were arrested with levy money.

Bhikhan Ganjhu has a total of 26 cases registered in Chatra district’s Piparwar, Tandwa, Lavalong and Pathalgada along with Ranchi district’s Khalari, Budhmu Mccluskieganj and Kanke police stations.

Bhikhan Ganjhu was on the radar of Jharkhand Police as well as NIA in terror funding and smuggling of foreign arms. The NIA had declared Bhikhan as a most wanted militant.

The Ranchi Police team has recovered Rs 12.32 lakh of levy, seven mobiles, two routers, a letter pad of TPC, a laptop and many other items from Bhikhan Ganjhu. NIA will also take Bhikhan on remand and will interrogate 13 funding arms smuggling and many other cases. In this case, there is a possibility that many big names may be exposed.

Bhikhan, a TPC militant living in the Piparwar police station area of Chatra district, was on the radar of the NIA. NIA has registered a case in case of terror funding on Bhikhan Ganjhu in case number RC 05/2019/ and RC 06/2018.

Bhikhan Ganjhu is a CCL employee and commander in a militant organization. NIA has filed a charge sheet in the case of terror funding in Piparwar’s Ashoka, Tandwa’s Magadha-Amrapali project.

The NIA has also filed a charge sheet on Bikhan for arms smuggling from Nagaland. Despite being most wanted, he was active in the coal business these days.
