Dumka, Aug 16: Having made the ruling dispensation in the state restless  by his statements through social media platforms Godda BJP MP Nishikant Dubey has now claimed that by-elections of Barhet and Dumka assembly seats would take place soon in light of the office of profit cases pending against the sitting MLAs.

Dubey was in Dumka on Tuesday in connection with a pending case of the violation of the model code of conduct during the last assembly elections.

“The BJP has presented a watertight case to the election commission against the candidature of both the sitting MLAs from Barhet and Dumka for violating the office of profit norms which is for sure to be cancelled,” Dubey claimed in a press conference at circuit house here on the basis of the remarks of legal experts.

Barhet assembly constituency is being represented by Chief Minister Hemant Soren himself who after securing win from two assembly seats in the last elections vacated Dumka seat to enable his younger brother Basant Soren for his debut in the electoral politics having also managed to sail through the by-election.

“It is therefore the BJP cadres have been directed to be in the readiness for the campaigning for the next by-elections to take place anytime in October and November,” Dubey reiterated.

Dubey also grilled the JMM particularly Soren family for practicing nepotism and the uplift of own family members than common party cadres and electorates.

“After all, Jharkhand was not separated for the benefit of a single family (read Sorens),” he quipped.
