Ranchi: Snigdha Singh, wife of jailed automobile businessman Vinay Singh, has not received interim relief from the Ranchi ACB Court in the Hazaribagh forest land scam and disproportionate assets case. Her anticipatory bail plea was heard on Wednesday, but the Anti-Corruption Bureau did not produce the case diary, prompting the court to defer the hearing to a later date.

Court Awaits ACB Case Diary Before Deciding on Bail

During the hearing, the ACB failed to submit the case diary, a key document required for consideration of anticipatory bail. As a result, the court refrained from granting any relief and scheduled the next hearing.

The FIR related to Snigdha Singh’s petition is numbered 20/2025. The case includes several high-profile accused, such as jailed IAS officer Vinay Chaubey, his wife Swapna, NextGen owner Vinay Singh, Chaubey’s brother-in-law Shipij Trivedi, his wife Priyanka Trivedi, and Chaubey’s father-in-law Satyendra Nath Trivedi.

ACB Finds Evidence of Disproportionate Assets and Financial Collaboration

According to the ACB’s preliminary investigation, all named accused allegedly accumulated assets disproportionate to their known sources of income and collaborated in investing such illicit wealth. The matter is expected to intensify once the case diary is presented before the court in the upcoming hearing.
