Prime Minister Narendra Modi in an interview given to the news agency PTI said, India will be a developed nation by 2047. There will be no place for corruption, casteism and communalism in our lives. In his interview, PM Modi openly presented the side of the central government on various issues.
Prime Minister Modi has stated that India’s positive influence is evident through its chairmanship of the G20. He has dismissed Pakistan and China’s objections to the organization of G20 meetings in Kashmir and Arunachal Pradesh. He has emphasized the naturalness of organizing meetings in every part of the country.
Citing the country’s record of jumping five places in less than a decade, the PM said that India will be among the top three economies of the world in the near future. He said that the GDP-centric approach of the world is now becoming human-centric. India is playing the role of catalyst in this. The PM believed that Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas could be the guiding principle for world welfare.
“For a long time in world history, India was one of the top economies of the world. Later, due to the impact of colonisation of various kinds, our global footprint was reduced,” he said.
“But now, India is again on the rise. The speed with which we jumped five spots, from the 10th largest economy to the fifth largest in less than a decade has conveyed the fact that India means business,” he noted.
