New Delhi, Oct 3: One labourer has died and one is still trapped after a building was reported to have collapsed in Haryana’s Gururgram amid the demolition process on Monday.
A part of the building collapsed during demolition in Phase-I of Udyog Vihar in Haryana’s Gurgaon. Rescue teams and other officials rushed to the spot, efforts are being made to rescue the trapped workers.
Deepak Saharan, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DCP) west said that four workers were trapped among them, two of whom was rescued.
According to the officials, the rescue operation is still ongoing. The State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) has also reached the spot to help and aid in rescue efforts as two more workers are feared still trapped in the debris.
