Hazaribag, May 26: One of the main shooters and conspirators in the killing of Ritwik company general manager cum project co-ordinator manager Sharad Kumar was arrested today. Confirming this, Hazaribag SP Manoj Ratan Chauthe said the arrested shooter is Aman Saw, a resident of Patratu in the neighbouring Ramgarh district.
Sources said Sharad was murdered on May 9 when he was on his way to visit a coal mine. The police investigation revealed the complete planning behind this murder. Dreaded gangster Aman Sahu was behind this murder. Sahu was in Calcutta jail when he called his men in Dumka and Hazaribag jail over the phone to plan the murder. Sahu was in Chatra jail after being taken on remand.
It is still not clear to police why Sharad who hardly visited this area was not in the bulletproof car provided by the company. Even police are also trying to know why his bodyguard sat in the back seat and Sharad in the front.
An investigating officer said the police have done a good job by coming through the names of all shooters and all those who had done the recce as well as those who had planned this conspiracy.
