Mumbai, May 23: Abrar ul Haq, a well-known Pakistani musician, has resorted to social media to criticise Karan Johar and Dharma Films for allegedly using his song without his permission.
Notably, Dharma Productions unveiled the trailer for Jugjugg Jeeyo, their upcoming feature, on Sunday. One of the highlights of the trailer was the celebrity cast dancing to the well-known Punjabi song ‘Nach Punjaban.’
“I have not sold my song “ Nach Punjaban” to any Indian movie and reserve the rights to go to court to claim damages. Producers like @karanjohar should not use copy songs. This is my 6th song being copied which will not be allowed at all,” he tweeted.
“Song “Nach Punjaban” has not been licensed to any one. If someone is claiming it , then produce the agreement. I will be taking legal action,” he added.
