Palamu administration gears up for Adhikar- Sarkar-Dwar reach

Daltonganj, Nov.12: Palamu administration is gearing up to start more than a month long state government’s programme named as ‘Aapka Adhikar-Aapki Sarkar-Aapke Dwar.

 

DC Shashi Ranjan said that this drive is to start at the district’s panchayats from November 16 and will end on December 28.

 

As Palamu has more than 280 panchayats it is calculated that this drive is to be held on an average 4 to 5 panchayats a day.

 

The DC said the Director of DRDA, Smitha Toppo has been asked to prepare a road map for this drive. Police will also be at the panchayat level concentration.

 

He said that there will be deliverance as well as narrative about the fleet of the welfare and development schemes.

 

If the State Election Commission announces panchayat poll schedule then this drive will be put on the back burner as block level functionaries will be short of breath for this people connect programme.

 

Covid-19 had wound up the then Janta Durbar which now is made to wear a name with ‘your rights, your government and at your doorstep.’

 

SP Chandan Kumar Sinha also wanted a space for the local police in it. Sources said the chowkidars will be an important face of this programme.
