Daltonganj, April 9: Aerial vigil by drones in Palamu has started giving results that are positive and happy.
Last evening, Sadar SDO Rajesh Kumar Sah issued a public notice. It was about the storage of bricks, stone chips, etc on the rooftops. The households whose rooftops fall in the route of the procession of the Ramnavmi were asked to shift their throwables from the rooftop to other corners of the house but under no circumstances the throwables be there on the rooftops.
Palamu SP Chandan Kumar Sinha said drones discovered images of the rooftops. It found three rooftops along the route of the passage of the procession where there were bricks, stone, chips, etc.
“We have got it shifted from the rooftop to any other ground location of the respective household,” said the SP.
He said the police visited the household and convinced them why these throwables should not be on the rooftop during this festival and the passage of the procession, after which the households quite happily began to shift their throwables from the rooftop to another corner of their houses.
SP made it clear that these materials are just leftovers of the construction work major or minor and have nothing dubious or sinister at all.
He agreed every family preserves brick, chips, etc for future use and these three households were having this.
He said no question of any seizure of it arises at all as there is no ill motive behind it.
