Daltonganj, Aug 13: A simple but impressive foot march was organised on Saturday in Daltonganj under the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign. It started 15 to 20 minutes late as its scheduled roll down was fixed for 9.30 this morning.

The march started from the premises of the Palamu Collectorate. It was led by the Palamu BJP MP V D Ram joined by the MLA Alok Chourasia, DC Anjaneyulu Dodde, SP Chandan Kumar Sinha, DDC Megha Bhardwaj, city commissioner Sameera S, SDO Sadar Rajesh Kumar Sah and others.

Those who were leading it walked almost 200 steps only to get back to work in the offices. The march went on negotiating the streets of the town of Daltonganj. It also included women in great numbers.

Palamu Civil surgeon Dr John F Kennedy had ensured the distribution of face masks on this occasion and the major beneficiaries of the face masks were the journalists who have almost said goodbye to the wearing of the face masks.
