Daltonganj, Dec 27: Dr Ashok Kumar today assumed the charge of the civil surgeon in Palamu, which is his additional charge as he is also the medical officer in the primary health centre in Haidernagar. He was tipped for the civil surgeon on Monday.
The state government has vested in him the power of drawing and disbursing. He has replaced Dr Vijay Kumar Singh.
Soon after assuming the charge of the civil surgeon, Dr Ashok Kumar pushed off to the community health centre at Lesliganj, 20 km away from Daltonganj, with his district programme manager Deepak Kumar Gupta where he inspected the PSA plant and oversaw the preparedness of the Covid management.
Dr Kumar said that in the community health centre, they need a 200 kV transformer for the medical O2 plant.
He said that the community health centre lacks cleanliness and added that he has given 3 days’ time to the medical officer in charge of the community health centre to improve the overall cleanliness.
Dr Ashok Kumar then called upon the Palamu DC Anjaneyulu Dodde in his official chamber today.
