Palamu, Oct 29: On the instructions of Deputy Commissioner Shashi Ranjan, District Mining Officer Anand Kumar is continuously taking action against illegal mining, transportation and storage.
In the same sequence, the DMO took action and seized a vehicle loaded with illegal stones. An FIR has been registered in Pipra police station against the vehicle owner, driver and persons involved in Shivalaya Construction.
Pipra police station in-charge was getting information that stones were being taken away by breaking them illegally in the construction work of NH 98 four lane. A vehicle checking campaign was conducted on information. Meanwhile, a stone-laden vehicle was seized. When documents were demanded, none was provided by the driver.
Meanwhile, District Mining Officer Anand Kumar said that the transportation of illegal stones is a serious matter. The matter will be investigated with full depth. Strict action will be taken against persons involved in illegal business.
