Daltonganj, March 31: A young vegetable vendor identified as Vikas Kumar of Sua Korya village under Sadar block died on the spot when his bike was hit on the front by a four-wheeler on NH 75 today at around 6:50 am.
The in-charge of town outpost police 2 Rudranand Saras said we have seized the four-wheeler. The driver fled from the spot.
The body has been sent to the Medinirai Medical College Hospital for post-mortem.
The swift and prompt action of the police team led by Saras averted the NH 75 blockade.
