Panchayat polls: 39.8% voter turnout in Ramgarh till 11 am, DC inspects booths

Ramgarh, May 14: Ramgarh District Election Officer (Panchayat) cum Deputy Commissioner Madhavi Mishra, Superintendent of Police Prabhat Kumar and Sub-Divisional Officer Mohammad Javed Hussain on Saturday inspected various ongoing polling stations at Gola, Dulmi and Chitarpur of the district.

DC Mishra, taking information about the work going on at the polling station from the presiding officers, directed them to fill various types of forms correctly, while she directed to conduct elections in a malpractice-free and peaceful manner.

On the spot, the DC directed all the zonal and sector magistrates to regularly inspect all the polling stations falling in their area and maintain law and order.

Assistant District Public Relations Officer, concerned area Block Development Officers, Circle Officers and others were present during the inspection.

A total of 39.8% voters exercised their franchise till 11:00 am in Gola, Dulmi and Chitarpur blocks under the first phase of the three-tier Panchayat General Election 2022.
