Ramgarh, Sept 22: The JSP Foundation has launched a camp for girls’ football coaching. The program was inaugurated by Balkudra Panchayat (Patratu block) Mukhiya, Vijay Munda, and JSP CSR in presence of Manager Anurag Singh.

Under this program, football coaching will be given to 25 girls from nearby areas. The foundation will provide them with a coach, sports and training material, and facilities to play in football tournaments of different levels.

Along with this, they will also be given training in topics like nutritional support, leadership skills and life skills. The objective of this training program is to allow rural girls in their area to leave their homes and make careers in big sports like football.

This program will also work for women empowerment as usually, it is found that in rural areas, girls are tied up in household chores and early marriage and do not get a chance to make a career or advance in sports.

On the occasion, CSR Dr Manju Mishra, Rashmita Das, Coach Shashi Keshari Prasad, Suresh Soni of Balkudara village, Khushi Linda, Sulekha Kumari, Nandani Kumari, Antara Kumari, Priyanka Kumari and many other players were present.
