The Ukraine conflict, which has sparked geopolitical unrest and exacerbated a worldwide food and energy crisis, is slated to be the main topic of discussion among the G7 leaders.
On the fringes of the G7 conference, PM Modi will meet with the presidents of the G7 and the guest nations for bilateral talks, according to Foreign Secretary Vinay Mohan Kwatra on Friday.
Along with inviting Argentina, Indonesia, Senegal, and South Africa as guests for the summit, Germany, the G7 Summit’s host nation, also recognised the democracies of the global south as allies.
