New Delhi, Oct 30: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch two new tourist attractions at Kevadia Colony (Ektanagar) during his visit to Narmada district on October 31.
The PM will dedicate a newly constructed Miyawaki forest spread over 2 acres in Kevadi, next to the Ekta Mall. He will also innaugurate a maze garden that has been built on three acres opposite Jungle Safari near world’s tallest statue – the Statue of Unity (SoU).
A variety of plants, around 1.80 lakh in number, have been planted in the shape of ‘Shree Yantra’ in the maze garden to prove positive energy to the tourists. The maze garden is touted to be the largest in India.
The PM will attend the National Unity Day programme that is being organised on the occasion of Sardar Patel Jayanti. He will address trainee civil servants at the fourth edition of Aarambh 2022.
The theme for this year’s Aarambh 2022 is ‘Good governance in amrit kaal, digital technologies: foundation to frontiers.’ Beginning October 28, several sessions are being conducted for the trainee officers. A total of 455 trainee officers of All India Civil Services and Royal Bhutan Civil Services are participating in this year’s programme.
In 2019, a common foundation course was initiated with the aim to bring on one platform all civil services and integrate various departments and services for trainees of All India Civil Services, Group-A central services, and foreign services. This initiative was christened Aarambh.
Earlier, the children who were often found begging near Ambaji temple had to fight for their basic needs and a chance to get educated.
“A local NGO named Shree Shakti Seva Kendra based in Ambaji worked with such children, to not only educate them but also identify the skills in which they are good. The tribal children with musical band were also skilled by the NGO Shree Shakti Seva Kendra,” the PMO said.
At Kevadia, Modi will pay homage to Sardar Patel on his 147th birth anniversary. He will also participate in the Ekta Diwas Parade.
