Prayagraj: Prime Minister Narendra Modi took a sacred dip in the Triveni Sangam on Wednesday morning as part of the ongoing Maha Kumbh Mela 2025 in Prayagraj. The Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) had announced his visit on Tuesday, marking the leader’s participation in the world’s largest spiritual and cultural gathering.
The Maha Kumbh Mela, which began on Paush Purnima (January 13) and will conclude on Mahashivratri (February 26), has attracted millions of pilgrims from across the globe, offering them an opportunity to engage in holy rituals and seek divine blessings.

PM Modi also visited the holy confluence of the Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswati rivers and performed rituals at the site. His visit is part of the government’s continued focus on enhancing pilgrimage infrastructure.
• During his last visit to Prayagraj on December 13, 2024, PM Modi inaugurated 167 development projects worth ₹5,500 crore.
