20898/20897 Ranchi – Howrah – Ranchi Vande Bharat Express is going to be the fastest train connectivity between the two cities of Jharkhand and West Bengal.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will virtually flag off the Ranchi-Howrah-Ranchi Vande Bharat Express tomorrow, Sunday.
The regular run of Ranchi-Howrah-Ranchi Vande Bharat Express will commence from September 27, Wednesday.
The indigenously designed Vande Bharat Express is equipped with state-of-the-art passenger amenities.
It will provide more comfortable and more convenient travel experience to rail users.
The train will be immensely beneficial for the students, businessmen, tourists and entrepreneurs. Enhanced connectivity will also provide a boost to socio-economic development in the region.
20898/20897 Ranchi – Howrah- Ranchi Vande Bharat Express will run 6 days a week, except Tuesday.
20898 Ranchi – Howrah Vande Bharat Express will depart Ranchi at 5.15 am and will reach Howrah at 12.20 pm the same day.
In the opposite direction, 20897 Howrah-Ranchi Vande Bharat Express will depart Howrah at 3.45 pm and will reach Ranchi at 10.50 pm the same day.
The train will have stoppages at Muri, Kotshila, Purulia, Chandil, Tatanagar and Kharagpur enroute.
Patna-Howrah Vande Bharat
The Prime minister will also flag off virtually tomorrow 9 new Vade Bharat express trains, including train Patna-Howrah Vande Bharat Express formally tomorrow. According to the information, Godda MP Nishikant Dubey will greet the train and flag off the train on arrival at Jasidih Station.
As per the time table issued by the Railway Board, this train will leave from Patna at 12.30 pm and reach Jasidih station at 16:00 pm i.e. 4 pm on September 24. This train will operate 6 days a week between Patna and Howrah, except Wednesdays from Sept. 26. However, when the regular operation of the train starts from September 26, the train will depart from Patna at 8 am for Howrah, which will reach Jasidih at 10.53 am. After stoppage of 2 minutes it will depart for Howrah at 10.55. According to the time table released by the Railway Board, after Patna, the stoppage of the train are Patna Sahib, Barh, Mokama ,Lakhisarai, Jamui Jasidih, Madhupur, Jamtara, Sitarampur, Asansol, Rani Ganj, Andal, Durgapur, Panagarh, Vardaman ,Karma Kund, Howrah.
